CP1015970-Human Nutritional Sciences Building-Textiles Science Teaching Laboratory-Remodel
This project proposes to remodel rooms 2003, 2110, 2116, 2118, 2124, and 2126 of the Human Nutritional Sciences Building (HNSB) to accommodate a Textiles Science Teaching Laboratory. A future project will include a first-floor remodel of HNSB to accommodate a Tearoom/Student-Run Restaurant (SRR). This project proposed to remodel approximately 2,417 gross square feet of the second floor of HNSB to a Textiles Science Teaching Laboratory (TSL). The TSL, temporarily located in Bessey Hall due to the rebuild of LeBaron Hall, will relocate to the new space. Work consists of demolition of interior space including existing walls, casework, equipment, and finishes. New work will include new walls, casework, fume hoods, finishes, and updated mechanical and electrical work to support the remodel.
