This project includes interior renovations to two existing lab spaces (Rooms 142 and 148) and one storage room (Room 156) at the west end of Town Engineering along the existing loading dock, totaling 3,000 square feet. The existing labs will be renovated to better support existing space uses and the existing storage room will be renovated into a cleaning and storage space. Demolition work includes but is not limited to; demolition of two existing concrete masonry walls, concrete slab, casework, and exterior access doors. New work includes but is not limited to: exterior wall patching and finishes. Mechanical scope includes but is not limited to: demolition of existing gas lines, new dust collection system, and replacement of existing grilles and diffusers. Electrical scope includes but is not limited to: renovations to power and lighting systems.

The project consists of, but is not limited to, dewatering, excavation and disposal of lakebed sediment from Lake LaVerne as well as pavement removal, regrading of the lakebed, reshaping the lake edge, bank stabilization, placement of limestone outcropping and fieldstone along the lake edge, cut limestone walls, extending lake overflow channel, PCC sidewalks, railing replacement, site lighting, and seeding.
