The project consists of, but is not limited to, tear-off of approximately 45,660 SF of existing ballasted EPDM, rigid insulation, flashings and sheet metal trim. Roof replacement will be with a fully adhered low slope roof system consisting of fully adhered tapered rigid insulation with fully adhered 90 mil EPDM roof system. Other work includes metal deck patching, wood blocking, pre-finished sheet metal copings, flashings, sealants, fall protection guardrails, painting, roof drain piping and laboratory vent piping. Mechanical work includes extension of the existing strobic exhaust duct, installation of piping, and final connections to existing laboratory hoods. Removal of any roof mounted equipment no longer necessary after the strobic connection is complete.
