This project will replace the heating system piping throughout the Durham Center. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing piping, risers, valves and supports. The project consists of, but is not limited to, installing new underground utilities consisting of 24 inch chilled water supply and return piping, 12 inch to 42 inch storm sewer system with associated roadway intakes, 10 inch domestic water main, 10 inch sanitary sewer, a steam tunnel extension and underground electrical system for site lighting all under Bissell Road and the adjacent sidewalks from Osborn Drive to Union Drive. Additionally the project includes complete replacement Bissell Road, adjacent sidewalks and all new site lighting for areas affected by the underground utilities.
