City of Lake Charles, Louisiana City of Lake Charles Emergency Traffic Control Signals HL-201 The work consists of the installation of new traffic signals, complete and operable, including but not limited to actuated traffic controller, pull boxes, poles, mast arms, foundations, conduits, luminaire support, cables, wire, connection fees, coordination with Entergy and City of Lake Charles Traffic Department, and the removal of existing traffic signals. This new equipment is to be installed at the intersection as shown on the plans. Unless otherwise specified, all materials shall be new. Existing equipment to be removed shall be removed in such manner as to avoid damage to said equipment, and proper care and protection shall be exercised after its removal. All incidental parts which are not shown on the plans, or specified herein or in the Special Provisions, and which are necessary to complete the traffic signal or other electrical systems or required for modifying existing systems, shall be furnished and installed as though such parts were shown on the plans or specified herein. All systems shall be complete and in operation to the satisfaction of the Engineer at the time of final acceptance.

Project No. 2020-704 Capital Project No. 3177 W. Prien Lake Widening Cove Lane to Ihles Road City of Lake Charles, LA The general scope of work for Project No. 2020-704, W. Prien Lake Road Widening Cove Lane to Ihles Road, includes the following: A. PRIEN LAKE ROAD FROM COVE LANE SOUTH TO IHLES ROAD (APPROXIMATELY 5100 FEET): i. Paving: Construct a new 10” thick, 49- to 61-foot-wide reinforced concrete pavement with integral curb and 12” thick compacted stone base with geogrid reinforcement. Construct a new 5-lane signalized intersection at Sale Road. Construct a new 8-foot-wide concrete sidewalk on the west side and a new 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk on the east side of the street. ii. Water: The existing 12" water line will remain in place where possible. However, portions of this system will be replaced with new including a new 12” waterline on W. Prien Lake Road from Ihles Road west to Prien Terre Road. Additionally, new 8" water taps will be installed and stubbed down Prienwood Drive & Timber Lane for future extension. iii. Sanitary Sewer: A new sewer lift station, along with associated force main, will be installed on the west side of W. Prien Lake Road near Sale Road. New gravity sewer lines shall be installed to incorporate this new lift station as well as extend the existing sewer system. iv. Storm Sewer: Installation of three new underground drainage systems. The northern drainage system will outfall into an existing ditch located on the north side of 3624 W. Prien Lake Road. The central drainage system will outfall approximately 1300 feet down Henderson Bayou Road into Henderson Bayou. The southern drainage system will outfall approximately 500 feet west of the intersection of Prien Lake Road and Ihles Road into Henderson Bayou. All systems will include drainage pipe ranging from 15" to 72" in diameter. B. SALE ROAD FROM PRIEN LAKE ROAD EAST TO RUE CHAN ANN (APPROXIMATELY 2,300 FEET): i. Paving: Construct a new 9” thick (8” thick in “tee” west of West Prien Lake Road), 36-foot-wide reinforced concrete pavement with integral curb and 8” thick compacted stone base. Construct a new 4-foot-wide concrete sidewalk on the north side. ii. Water: The existing 12" water line will remain in place from Prien Lake Road to Phillips Lane. The 12" water line will be replaced and relocated from Phillips Lane east to Rue Chan Ann. iii. Sanitary Sewer: The existing sewer system will remain in place. iv. Storm Sewer: Installation of a new underground drainage system, including drainage pipe as large as 60" in diameter. C. HENDERSON BAYOU ROAD FROM PRIEN LAKE ROAD WEST TO INDIAN BAY DRIVE (APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET): i. Paving: Construct a new 8” thick, 25- to 37-foot-wide reinforced concrete pavement with integral curb and 12” thick compacted stone base with geogrid reinforcement. This portion of Henderson Bayou Road is being reconstructed to introduce a new left turn lane. ii. Storm Sewer: Installation of a new underground drainage system, including drainage pipe as large as 60" in diameter. This new system will serve as the outfall for the central Prien Lake Road drainage system referenced above. The existing 54" drainage line on the south side will remain in place.
