Hurricane Laura Disaster Recovery (DR-4559-LA) ~
I. Scope of Services:
Design of roof repairs, in response to damage incurred as a result of Hurricane Laura (DR-4559-LA), to return the roofing system to pre-storm conditions and to upgrade these existing systems to coincide with newly applicable codes, standards, and regulations as imposed by governmental bodies with the appropriate jurisdictional authority. This Work shall include the following:
1. Removal and replacement of the modified bitumen roof assembly
2. Removal and replacement of damaged HVAC units and other damage mechanical accessories
3. Repair and recommissioning of damaged HVAC units which are not deemed to be beyond repair (if applicable)
4. Removal and replacement of the communication tower and its appurtenances
5. Repair of electrical racks, electrical panels, conduit and other associated appurtenances
6. Removal of skid mounted communication building and its appurtenances and removal of steel skid
7. Repair or removal and replacement of all other damages related to Hurricane Laura

2019 Wastewater Pipe Bursting

The general scope of work is to rehabilitate a total of approximately 5,992 linear feet of existing 8-inch sewer main by pipe bursting at the five (5) project sites listed above. The pipe bursting process is to include 8-inch DR-17 HDPE pipe, all insertion pits, full circle clamps, and tie-ins to manholes. All sewer services shall be reconnected to the main. Also included in the scope is the rehabilitation of approximately 17 manholes and the installation of two (2) new 4-foot diameter fiberglass manholes. The scope includes a post video inspection of each project site.
Associated incidental work includes the removal and replacement of approximately 281 square yards of pavement, hydroseeding, and video inspection.
