CP 3040 City of Lake Charles project, ‘1st Avenue Trail North of Broad to I-10’ consist of site work improvements for an identified recreational trail development area. The site work consists of traffic control, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, grading, and stockpiling of topsoil and vegetative much, saw cutting, demolition of asphaltic and concrete pavement, installation of concrete pavement, and installation of concrete curb and gutter build back, as outlined on the contract documents. This project is a Federal-Aid Construction Project with reference and inclusion of Form FHWA 1273 and its required outlined provisions for Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractors, and Lower Tier Sub-contracts.

HL-24, 25A, 29E, 29G, 29H, 32, 33, 81A, 81.D.1, 81M, 126E, 126C, 126D, 126J, 126K, 126F I. Background: Gusting winds, debris impacts, and heavy rain, associated with Hurricane Laura, incurred minimal to severe damages to multiple buildings located at Wastewater Treatment Plants A, B/C, and D. This project will serve to provide necessary repairs to reinstate building functionality to pre-storm conditions. Scope items have also been identified that would serve to upgrade these antiquated systems to the latest codes and standards. II. Scope of Services: Design and implementation of building repairs, in response to damages incurred as a result of Hurricane Laura (DR-4559-LA), to pre-storm conditions and regulations as imposed by governmental bodies with the appropriate jurisdictional authority.
