Division, Hodges, and Pujo Streets. After completion of point repair activities, Contractor shall install Cured In-Place Pipe in continuous segments from designated structures listed on the plan sheets. Roadway surfaces damaged during the course of point repair construction will be repaired using like materials to return the roadway surface to a condition that meets or exceeds its condition prior to beginning construction.

The Work includes exterior cleaning of building, re-pointing all existing masonry walls, painting of all window trim and exterior “non-masonry” materials and all exterior surfaces that have been previously painted including stairs, exterior doors, etc.. Replacement of all gutters and downspouts including flashing at scuppers and repair of roofing at parapet walls, collector heads, and coping. 2. All work shown on drawings and included in Specifications Manual. 3. Contractor is to perform the Work in accordance with pertinent State, Local and National Codes as well as all requirements of OSHA, including the Hazard Communication Standard. 4. This building is a historically significant structure and is on the National Registry of Historic Buildings, therefore the contractor shall at all times follow the Secretary of the Interior’s “Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties” which describe guidelines for preserving, rehabilitating, restoring and reconstructing of Historic Buildings. Scope of Services: The City of Lake Charles desires to replace the existing 3.0 MG steel at the Southwest Water Treatment Plant which is being demolished due to structural failures. In place the existing 3.0 MG GST the City would like to construct a new 2.0 MG concrete ground storage tank to expand the finished water capacity available on site. This Work will include but is not limited to the following: 1. Demolition of the remaining concrete ring wall foundation 2. Excavation of existing subgrade and installation of select fill or granular materials in as defined by the geotechnical investigation. 3. Construction of a new 2.0 MG AWWA D110 Type III concrete ground storage tank. 4. Installation of fill and draw piping to and from the ground storage tank 5. Installation of a remote level indicator and associated instrumentation and controls for tank monitoring and plant control. 6.
