Scope of Services: The City of Lake Charles desires to install closed drainage and a sidewalk along the north side of W. McNeese Street. The scope of work to complete these improvements will include, but is not limited to the following: 1. W. McNeese Street (End of Barbe HS Property to Nelson Road) a. Remove the existing drainage and install new, closed drainage to promote positive drainage within the area. b. Install a curb and gutter section along the existing edge of road. c. Install a sidewalk along the north side of the road to assist with pedestrian and school traffic.

Project No. 2018-674 Capital Project No. 3131 Lake Street Reconstruction From Westmoreland Street South to Waverly Street City of Lake Charles, LA ~ The general scope of work for Project No. 2018-674, Lake Street Extension from Westmoreland Street South to Waverly Street, includes the following: 1. Paving: Construct a new 10 inch thick, 48 to 54 foot wide reinforced concrete pavement with integral curb and 8” compacted stone base. New six foot (6’) wide plain concrete sidewalk on the east side of the street will be constructed. Approximate project length is about 550 linear feet. 2. Water: Replace the existing 8 inch PVC water line crossing Lake Street at Wedgewood with a new 8 inch DR-11 HDPE water pipe via directional drill, including valves, fittings, and fire hydrant. The existing 8 inch PVC water line will be abandoned in place or removed as required. 3. Drainage: Install new underground drainage system.

A system for bypass pumping to manage sewage flow must be furnished and maintained. Manhole tops will require removal and re construction to facilitate liner installation. Concrete and/or brick manholes will also be rehabilitated with new interior liners.

Scope of Services: The City of Lake Charles desires to rehabilitate the six (6) existing horizontal pressure filters at the Southwest Water Treatment Plant. Estimated Total Volume Needed: 4,320 ft.3 b. 24” Layer of Manganese Greensand & 12” Layer of Anthracite 2. Removal and replacement of the Existing Gravel Bed and Retaining Screen 3. Removal and replacement of the Existing Underdrain Valves 4. Removal and replacement of additional Filter Internals as Required 5. Removal and replacement of the existing air scour piping and discharge nozzles. 6. Removal and replacement of the existing backwash water flow meter.

A new WWTP B/C facility is currently under construction for The City of Lake Charles. Decommissioning of the existing WWTP B/C has been divided into two phases. B. This scope of work covers Phase I of the demolition. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Removal and disposal of mechanical and electrical equipment from existing tankage at existing WWTPs B and C. 2. Demolition and filling of existing tankage at existing WWTPs B and C. 3. Installation of approximately 250 linear feet of 8-inch PVC, 20 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron pipe, 90 linear feet of 30-inch HDPE, 372 linear feet of 48-inch ductile iron pipe, one new reinforced cast in place concrete collection box, and one 8-ft diameter FRP manhole. 4. Coating of two existing manholes and one new reinforced cast in place concrete collection box.
