Scope of Services: The City of Lake Charles desires to rehabilitate the six (6) existing horizontal pressure filters at the George H. West Water Treatment Plant. This Work will include but is not limited to the following: 1. Complete Removal and Replacement of Filter Internals within all (6) Filters: a. Remove 30” of Manganese Anthrasand and Replace with 20” of Manganese GreensandPlus and 10” of Anthracite. b. Removal and Replacement of Existing Gravel Bed. c. Removal and Replacement of Existing Air Blower for Air Scour. 5. Modifications to Existing Backwash Pumps and associated Piping. 6. Installation of Slow Fill Line with Modulating Control Valve for Backwash. 7. Replacement of Existing Backwash Pump Controls with VFDs and New Backwash Control Panel. 8. Removal and Replacement of Existing Backwash Flow Meter. 9. Modification of Backwash Line Discharge into Recovery Basin. 10. Coating and Rehabilitation of Fluoride Secondary Containment Vessel. 11. Complete Touch-Ups as Required for Damaged Coating on Filter Vessels. 12. Installation of In-Line Static Mixer on Raw Water Influent Line.

Scope of Services: The City of Lake Charles desires to install closed drainage and a sidewalk along the north side of W. McNeese Street. The scope of work to complete these improvements will include, but is not limited to the following: 1. W. McNeese Street (End of Barbe HS Property to Nelson Road) a. Remove the existing drainage and install new, closed drainage to promote positive drainage within the area. b. Install a curb and gutter section along the existing edge of road. c. Install a sidewalk along the north side of the road to assist with pedestrian and school traffic.

Project No. 2017-669 Capital Project No. 3283 Legendre Street Drainage Improvements - Contraband Bayou to McNeese Street Phase One City of Lake Charles, LA ~ The scope of work for Project No. 2017-669 includes installation of approximately 675 linear feet of 8’ x 7’ Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts (RCB) and drainage inlets in the East roadside ditch of Legendre Street starting at the downstream end near Contraband Bayou and proceeding South to the Cell Tower drive (approximately 260 feet South of Badger Drive).
