Request for Proposal for Café Services at the Independence Café and Teaching Garden Building. It is the intent of BREC to enter into an agreement with a qualified Contractor to provide a year-round casual dining/coffee house experience at the Independence Café & Teaching Garden building at Independence Park.

Architectural Recreation Center and Gym Renovations, Playground, Aquatic Playground, modular restrooms, site work, sub-surface drainage.

The project will consist of approximately 700 linear feet of new pedestrian and cyclist trail construction in Expressway Park connecting Myrtle Avenue to South Boulevard. Construction in addition to the pathway will include grading, drainage, miscellaneous concrete paving, sitework, revegetation, and trailhead facilities including benches, bike racks, accessible ramps and other miscellaneous site construction as detailed in the construction drawings & specifications.

The proposed improvements to Sugarland Neighborhood Park include: A new playground, a 5’ wide concrete walking circuit, 5 outdoor fitness stations, parking improvements, site furnishings, and landscape improvements.

The proposed improvements to Flannery Road Neighborhood Park include: A new 2-5 year old playground, a 6’ wide concrete walking circuit, a sand volleyball court, 2 new basketball goals on existing tennis court, parking improvements, site furnishings, landscape improvements, a new restroom building, and a new picnic shelter.
