This project will replace roof Section F and repair the parapet wall at MacKay Hall. This section of the roof is a built-up roof (BUR) and is over 25 years old with a history of leaks. This project includes, but is not limited to: • Replacement of the roof with a system designed for a minimum life expectancy of 30 years • Roof insulation to meet current energy codes • Roof safety improvements as needed to meet current university standards • Repair, tuckpointing, or caulking of all features, roof curbs, and parapet walls above the roofline to prevent water infiltration through these critical connections • Addition of a roof access door

This project includes, but is not limited to, construction of replacement parking with new lighting and installation of underground infrastructure, which would include new water, power, gas, telecommunications, storm sewer, and sanitary lines to support future development. The project would also relocate the CyRide Transit Hub and raise a portion of the site above 100-year flood plain of Ioway Creek.

This project will perform approximately 1,550 SY of concrete patching intended to extend the life of the pavement and improve the overall pavement condition index (PCI) of Parking Lots on the ISU Campus. Improvements are included in the Five-Year Parking Lot Improvement Plan.

This project includes, but is not limited to, replacing the lighting throughout the University Bookstore with new fixtures, LED lighting and controllers, converting to 120 Volts, and adding battery packs.

The project will remodel portions of the back of house in the Seasons Marketplace dining facility at the Maple Willow Larch Commons. Back of house restrooms and food preparation areas will be updated due to deteriorating finishes, code and standards compliance, equipment upgrades, and improved workflows.
