City of Findlay Pavement Marking 2021
This project will consist of pavement marking in various locations across the City of Findlay. Due to fading existing pavement markings will need new paint to be applied to them. This project will consist of five different types of markings, dashed white (34.33 mile), dashed yellow (8.46 mile), double yellow (42.39 mile), white edge line (28.94 mile), and white channel line (4.40 mile). All paint must adhere to Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices standards.

SOQ Package Requirements can be downloaded for free but must be mailed/delivered to the City of Findlay as outlined in the documents.
The project scope includes examining the West Main Cross Street corridor from Main Street to Interstate 75 to determine what issues may currently exist or may be expected in the near future, recommend possible improvements (if needed), determine the existing right-of-way to determine how the possible improvements would fit in the existing right-of-way, determine if any improvements qualify for any funding opportunities and if warranted, assist in the safety funding application process.

City of Findlay Bittersweet Dr. and Bluebonnet Dr. Sanitary Sewer
This project on Bittersweet Drive and Bluebonnet Drive consist of installing a new 8-inch sanitary sewer from Lilac Lane to Western Avenue on each of the respective streets. The area is currently not served by any sanitary sewer and the new sanitary will be installed to allow homeowners to tap into the new public line. On each of the streets the sanitary will be placed in the grass area about 9-10 Ft. off the edge of roadway. Due to the location and the depth of the sanitary sewer, the sewer is expected to be placed in bedrock at times. The new sanitary sewers will tie into an existing sanitary sewer manhole with an outside drop and will extend to the west towards Western Avenue. The sanitary sewers range in depth from 10 Ft to 5 FT, with laterals being installed at each property.
This project shall consist of, but not limited to, 3670 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 44 sewer service laterals, full depth trench repair (4-inch thickness), 2 sanitary tie ins with outside drops, 14 sanitary manhole structures, 1170 CY of rock excavation, driveway replacement, seeding and mulching.
This project is funded by City of Findlay Sewer Funds. Bidders shall be aware of the required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the State Prevailing Wages that apply to this project. Domestic steel use requirements also apply to this project as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code. A copy of Section 153.011 can be obtained from any office of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services.

Northside Sewer Televising - This project consists of performing closed circuit television inspection on various sanitary sewers located within the City of Findlay. This program will assess the condition of the selected sewer lines, and present the information to the City of Findlay so that the information can be used to make decisions regarding rehabilitation and/ or replacement. The sewers will be rated by using a standardized field investigation approach to efficiently utilize time and resources when evaluating the selected sewers. This project shall consist of, but not limited to, sewer cleaning as necessary for proper sewer evaluating, CCTV recordings, evaluating and rating of recorded sewers, and electronic format submission of recorded/ evaluated sewers.

City of Findlay Chapel Drive Storm Sewer
This storm sewer project on Chapel Drive consists of installing a new 12-inch storm sewer on the west side of the roadway to help alleviate storm water runoff. The storm sewer will start at an existing storm manhole at West Hobart Avenue and will stretch to the south towards West Edgar Avenue. At W. Edgar Avenue two catch basins will be placed on the east side of the intersection to collect roadway runoff.
This project shall consist of, but not limited to, 473 LF of 12-inch storm sewer, 87 LF of 8-inch storm sewer, full depth trench repair (4-inch thickness), storm line tie-ins, 4 storm structures, 300 SF of sidewalk replacement, seeding and mulching.
This project is funded by City of Findlay Storm Sewer Funds. Bidders shall be aware of the required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the State Prevailing Wages that apply to this project. City of Findlay, Logan Avenue Reconstruction Phase III, OPWC FY20
This reconstruction project on Logan Avenue will be an extension to the previous two projects that were performed east of the proposed work site. Logan Avenue will be reconstructed from Tappan Avenue to Harrison Street. The existing roadway will be lowered by 6-10 inches to allow proper grading for a newly built roadway with straight curb extended to the west. A new 4 ft. wide concrete sidewalk will be installed on both sides of the roadway, and the grass area between the new sidewalk and curb will be regraded to properly drain. Along with the reconstruction of the roadway a new 8-inch waterline will be installed on the north side of Logan Avenue and the existing storm sewer on the south side of Logan Avenue will be extended to Harrison Street.
This project shall consist of, but not limited to, 1230 LF of 8-inch C909 waterline, 125 LF of 12-inch waterline, waterline tie-ins, waterline abandonments, fire hydrant installation, misc. fittings, seeding and mulching, 185 LF of 30-inch storm sewer, 380 LF of 24-inch storm sewer, 335 LF of 15-inch storm sewer, 250 LF of 12-inch storm sewer, 18 storm structures, 2600 LF of straight curb, 6,940 SF of sidewalk, drive approach replacement, roadway excavation, embankment, and 375 CY of asphalt.
This project is funded by City of Findlay Water, Sewer, and Capitol Funds as well as Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC). Bidders shall be aware of the required Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements as well as the State Prevailing Wages that apply to this project. Domestic steel use requirements also apply to this project as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code.
