OSU-230412, Schottenstein - Fire Alarm Completion
This project will upgrade the remaining fire alarm systems throughout the Schottenstein Center that has not been previously completed through other projects. The scope of the project will require a design to upgrade the system to be compliant with current codes and University design standards and will include new and upgrades/replacement of audio and visual devices, pathways and wiring throughout portions of the building. There will also be work involved with the existing fire suppression systems to replace or add components to coordinate with the new work.

beams, replacement of exterior T1-11 wood panel siding, limited site
work for asphalt walk removal, installation of 2.5” rigid insulation,
coverboard and PVC (FiberTite) roof membrane as an overlay on an
existing PVC roof membrane. The new insulation and PVC
(FiberTite) roof membrane will be provided by OSU as they already
own the material.
