All work will involve phased implementation to minimize disruptions, full system purging, pressure testing, third party certification, and verification to ensure code-compliant, safe, and reliable medical gas delivery supporting current operations and future facility expansion.

OSU Main Campus: The project is a general demolition of an existing 700 plus square foot space previously utilized as a home economics type cooking space. The existing cabinets, ovens, dishwashers, garbage disposals are to be demolished and removed. All existing finishes including ceiling, flooring and walls are to be removed and replaced. The space is to be re-constructed with new casework into a demonstration type teaching kitchen. A new exhaust hood with fire suppression system is to be installed along with new MEP systems in the room as well as new exhaust equipment on the roof. Existing shafts are to be re-used for the exhaust system in the neighboring classroom. Work in the neighboring classroom will need to be completed around the scheduled classroom activities. All new kitchen equipment is to be provided and installed as part of this contract.
