We provide all departments and service areas of the Borough with clear guidance as it pertains to purchasing policies and procedures, and ensure that appropriations are used wisely and in the best interest of the Borough while preserving the integrity and fairness of the competitive process.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough to provide comprehensive design services for the replacement and relocation of the generators and essential electrical systems at the South Peninsula Hospital (SPH). The objective of this project is to upgrade and modernize the existing infrastructure by replacing the current generators and updating all associated control systems, which have reached the end of their operational lifespan. he Kenai Peninsula Borough (KPB) is seeking proposals from qualified providers to Increase COVID-19 vaccinations to KPB residents and visitors by offering Mobile Vaccination Clinics. Mobile Vaccination Clinics are defined as providing COVID vaccinations at any location other than an existing brick and mortar facility or fixed site. ITB21-025 CPL LEACHATE TANK CLEANING INSPECTIONS AND REPAIRS
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for ITB21-025 Central Peninsula Landfill Leachate Tank Cleaning, Inspection, and Repairs. The project consists of the following: The Kenai Peninsula Borough Solid Waste Department at the Central Peninsula Landfill (CPL) is looking for assistance with cleaning, inspection, repair, and recoating of the leachate storage tank. The leachate tank is 30 ft. tall x 40 ft. wide with a nominal volume of 282,000 gallons. The tank is bolted steel construction covered with 5 inches of insulation banded to the exterior in two layers, with two (2) 30-inch manway side hatches, and roof hatch. The interior of the tank consists of small diameter pipe with membrane bubble diffusers elevated approximately 1 foot off the tank floor and various inlet/outlet ports. This work will commence July 1, 2021 and must be completed no later than August 31, 2021. A pre-bid conference will be held via Zoom Conference Call on April 20, 2021, 11:00 AM. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates.
