The intent of this Contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the Work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the Work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract.
The project consists of pavement patching, degrassing edge of road and grading shoulders, adjusting sanitary sewer manholes to grade, adjusting storm drain catch basins to grade, cold planing asphaltic pavement, lime treatment, in-place cement stabilized base course, asphaltic concrete surface course, pavement markings, asphaltic concrete ramps at paved driveways, aggregate surface course on aggregate driveways, topsoil shoulder material, and hydro-seeding for the following streets at various locations in the City of Lake Charles:

The intent of this Contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the Work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the Work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract.
The project consists of the removal of existing pavement markings and construction of new pavement markings for the following streets at various locations in the City of Lake Charles:

The general scope of work for Project No. 2017-663, Capital Project No. 2894, includes the rehabilitation of approximately 1780 feet of 24 inch sewer main by cured-in-place (CIPP) lining on Madeline Street from Common Street East to Swanee Street. A system for bypass pumping to manage sewage flow must be furnished and maintained. Brick and concrete manholes shall also receive interior liners.

North Grace Street Drainage Improvements
Highway Street to Medora Street

The City of Lake Charles desires to improve the drainage conditions to portions of North
Grace Street, Highway Street, and Guinn Street in North Lake Charles. As a means to
improve the drainage in this area a closed drainage network will be constructed on the
west side of North Grace Street from Highway Street to the outfall at Medora Street.
Construction of the new closed drainage network will consists of the following:
Removal and replacement of driveway pavement
Removal of existing drainage conduit which are undersized and not at the
appropriate depth
Installation of (15-inch thru 36-inch) Reinforced Concrete Pipe and Corrugated
Plastic Pipe in the locations where the existing open ditch exists on the west side
of N. Grace St. between Highway St. and Medora Street.
Installation of Concrete catch basins and closure of existing ditches on the west
side of N. Grace St. between Highway St. and Medora Street.
Asphalt Pavement removal and patching where cross drains are installed at
Highway St. and N. Grace St.

The Work includes construction of a new administration facility, lab and control room. Construction will consist of load-bearing wood studs and pre-fabricated wood roof trusses with plywood sheathing and standing seam metal roof. Exterior walls of face brick veneer and fiber-cement board siding. Interior construction will be wood stud walls, gypsum board sheathing, insulation, hollow metal and aluminum storefront exterior doors and frames, laminate interior doors, hollow metal frames, LVT, porcelain tile, & carpet flooring, FRP wall panels, lighting, power, HVAC, plumbing and additional mechanical work. The site of the new building is to be stripped of debris & existing material to an elevation of 8.50+/- & filled with structural borrow fill compacted per technical specifications. Site work will consist of concrete parking areas, sidewalks and ADA parking as required.

I. Scope of Services:
A. Expansion of the Southwest Water Treatment Plant, includes but is not limited to:
1. One (1) new 2.0 Million Gallon Type III, wire‐wrapped prestressed concrete tank.
2. One (1) new high service pump complete with motor starter and tie‐ins into the
existing spares within the existing control panel.
3. One (1) new pump control valve and associated controls for the new high service
pump.
4. One (1) new tank mixing system and associated air piping.
5. Interconnection site piping to and from new water storage tank.
6. A new header assembly to the high service pump station from the new and existing
tank.
7. A complete recoating of the existing high service pumps, valves, header, etc from the
existing ground storage tank to the termination of the discharge header within the
pump and filter building.
8. Demolition of the existing facilities as indicated.
