The goal of this project is to enhance pedestrian safety and beautify Ryan Street streetscape corridor from Clarence Street to the Pithon Coulee bridge. This will be accomplished by the reconstruction of the sidewalks to include pavers and the reconstruction of the intersection of Ryan & Clarence Streets to include pavered crosswalks. The scope of work shall also include overhead decorative lamp posts, traffic signal modifications, drainage, improved utility access and pavement markings.

2015 Asphalt Overlay of Various Streets

The intent of this Contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the Work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the Work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract.
The project consists of pavement patching, degrassing edge of road and grading shoulders, adjusting sanitary sewer manholes to grade, adjusting storm drain catch basins to grade, cold planing asphaltic pavement, asphaltic concrete surface course, pavement markings, asphaltic concrete ramps at paved driveways, aggregate surface course on aggregate driveways, topsoil shoulder material, aggregate surface course shoulder material, and hydro-seeding for the following streets at various locations in the City of Lake Charles:

WWTP A Basin A-13 Rehabilitation Project

Scope of Work:
A. The City of Lake Charles WWTP ‘A’ is currently under a Compliance Order (CO) with LDEQ. The approved CO schedule requires the rehabilitation of 13 sub basins in the WWTP ‘A’ Basin. The Sub Basins have been prioritized and ranked in order of severity of condition through wastewater modeling of the system.
B. Based on review of CCTV data of the Sub-Basin, recommendations for repair have been made and a cost estimate has been developed.
C. This scope of work covers the repair of the collection system in the WWTP A Sub Basin A-13. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
1. Pipe bursting approximately 11,300 linear feet of existing 6” and 8” sewer to new 8”.
2. Open cut replacement of approximately 5,000 linear feet of existing 6” and 8” sewer to new 8”.
3. Replacement of approximately 350 active sewer service laterals.
4. Coating approximately 160 vertical feet of existing and new manholes.
