Capital Project No. CP3234 North Grace Street Drainage Improvements Highway Street to Medora Street City of Lake Charles, LA ~ The City of Lake Charles desires to improve the drainage conditions to portions of North Grace Street, Highway Street, and Guinn Street in North Lake Charles. As a means to improve the drainage in this area a closed drainage network will be constructed on the west side of North Grace Street from Highway Street to the outfall at Medora Street. Construction of the new closed drainage network will consists of the following:  Removal and replacement of driveway pavement  Removal of existing drainage conduit which are undersized and not at the appropriate depth  Installation of (15-inch thru 36-inch) Reinforced Concrete Pipe and Corrugated Plastic Pipe in the locations where the existing open ditch exists on the west side of N. Grace St. between Highway St. and Medora Street.  Installation of Concrete catch basins and closure of existing ditches on the west side of N. Grace St. between Highway St. and Medora Street.  Asphalt Pavement removal and patching where cross drains are installed at Highway St. and N. Grace St.

WWTP B/C New Admin & Lab Project No. CP3211 City of Lake Charles, LA ~ The Work includes construction of a new administration facility, lab and control room. Construction will consist of load-bearing wood studs and pre-fabricated wood roof trusses with plywood sheathing and standing seam metal roof. Exterior walls of face brick veneer and fiber-cement board siding. Interior construction will be wood stud walls, gypsum board sheathing, insulation, hollow metal and aluminum storefront exterior doors and frames, laminate interior doors, hollow metal frames, LVT, porcelain tile, & carpet flooring, FRP wall panels, lighting, power, HVAC, plumbing and additional mechanical work. The site of the new building is to be stripped of debris & existing material to an elevation of 8.50+/- & filled with structural borrow fill compacted per technical specifications. Site work will consist of concrete parking areas, sidewalks and ADA parking as required.

Capital Project No. CP3243 WWTP A BASIN A-12 REHABILITATION PROJECT City of Lake Charles, LA ~ A. The City of Lake Charles WWTP ‘A’ is currently under a Compliance Order (CO) with LDEQ. The approved CO schedule requires the rehabilitation of 13 sub basins in the WWTP ‘A’ Basin. The Sub Basins have been prioritized and ranked in order of severity of condition through wastewater modeling of the system. B. Based on review of CCTV data of the Sub-Basin, recommendations for repair have been made and a cost estimate has been developed. C. This scope of work covers the repair of the collection system in the WWTP A Sub Basin A-12. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Pipe bursting 10,930 linear feet of existing 6” and 8” sewer to new 8”. 2. Open cut replacement of 3,248 linear feet of existing 6” and 8” sewer to new 8”. 3. Replacement of approximately 265 active sewer service laterals. 4. Coating approximately 80 vertical feet of existing and new manholes.
